eVolution 3e Turbine based: a high-performance ICU ventilator ?In #CriticalCare, precision and rapid response are essential. Our advanced engineering supports every breath with cutting-edge technology, with the aim of delivering accurate and swift patient care. Many turbine/blower ventilators on the market use the turbine as the primary flow control valve, adjusting RPM up and down with each breath, and they simply lack a dedicated airflow control valve. The eVolution T stands out with its specially developed low-pressure servo control valve, delivering precise breath delivery and oxygen mixing. This design enables the eVolution T ventilator to perform as a true high-performance ICU ventilator, while allowing the turbine to operate at a constant speed, significantly reducing noise without compromising breath delivery performance, and replicates the functionality of any compressor-based ventilator. ? ? Designed for ICUs, sub-acute and acute care settings, and in-hospital transport, the eVolution? 3e seamlessly integrates a sophisticated pneumatic and electronic system with advanced software to deliver respiratory support precisely aligned with operator-set parameters. Its oxygen proportional valve and air proportional valve (PV2) are microprocessor-controlled precision servo valves. Using feedback from internal flow sensors and pressure transducers, the system was designed to deliver every breath with accuracy and reliability. #RespiratoryTherapy #MechanicalVentilation #ICU #ICUventilator

关于我们
eVent Medical was founded in March of 2000 by respiratory therapists and engineers with the sole purpose of providing high-performance, cost-effective mechanical ventilators, enabling clinicians to provide world-class critical care ventilation. For over a decade, we have invested substantial research and development into our new products using the best and most experienced talents in the industry. The fact that we employ clinicians in key management roles means that Clinician Focused Products is not just a tag line, rather a belief system. We develop and manufacture in the USA the most reliable, functionally advanced ventilators, enabling clinicians to provide world-class respiratory care and treatment to patients while reducing the overall cost of care. With ventilation and respiratory care as our sole focus, we continue to develop and maintain the eVent Medical brand as a symbol of the integration of cutting edge technology in medical devices, as well as supporting the integrity of health-care providers with our products and services. At eVent Medical, our resources are focused on customer service and developing creative, cost-effective, high performance technology and solutions. Our passion is mechanical ventilation and our entire team lives and breathes ventilator care.

Stress Index in Mechanical Ventilation for ARDS: Its Utility and Role In managing Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), optimizing mechanical ventilation is crucial to protect the lungs from ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI). In this context, isn't lung stiffness but its reduced functional size. This discrepancy between ventilator-delivered volumes and the size of the 'baby lung' leads to significant differences in airway pressure. [1] [2] [3] In this context, the Stress Index (SI) emerges as a key tool for personalizing ventilation strategies. What is the Stress Index? The Stress Index, assessed during constant inspiratory flow, helps us understand the lung's mechanical response by analyzing the shape of the pressure-time curve, and can reveal tidal overdistension, tidal recruitment, or non-injurious ventilation. ??Why is it important? Research has demonstrated that adjusting tidal volume to a non-injurious stress index in an open lung condition improves alveolar ventilation and prevents overdistension without increasing lung injury. This is in comparison with limited Pplat protective ventilation in a model of lung injury with low chest-wall compliance. [4] Integrating this parameter into your ventilation protocols makes it possible to develop strategies for personalizing protective ventilation, adapting them to the specific characteristics of each patient. Driving pressure ARDS Management: Driving Pressure as a key variable to enhance Lung-Protective Ventilation in ARDS Patients A 2018 study reported that approximately 10% of total ICU admissions and 23% of all intubated patients are diagnosed with ARDS, and mortality remains high. [1] Mechanical ventilation in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) requires careful strategies to minimize ventilator-induced lung injury. One such strategy is protective ventilation, which includes the use of low tidal volumes and the optimization of driving pressure. Driving pressure is calculated as the difference between plateau pressure and positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP). Driving pressure has been suggested by Amato to be the key variable for optimization when performing mechanical ventilation in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). have shown that elevated driving pressure is associated with a higher risk of mortality in these group of patients. [2] Driving pressures provide an easily measured correlate of global lung stress that can be used to adjust the Tidal Volume based on the actual lung and chest compliance and the size of the aerated lung. How can we incorporate monitoring of this important variable into mechanical ventilation strategies within the ICU? The eVolution Ultra ventilator integrates tools for monitoring driving pressure, enabling the medical team to track this critical variable quickly, easily, and at any time without user intervention. - Driving pressure monitoring - Driving pressure alarms - Target tool to set safe driving pressure limits - Graphical line for safe driving pressure limits defined by the user [1] Aoyama, H, Yamada, Y, & Fan, E.
