As 2024 comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude. ?? Highlights from this year: ?? Expanded our urban farming programs, bringing fresh, locally-grown produce to more families. ?? Strengthened nutrition and culinary programs, teaching practical skills and empowering healthier choices. ?? Improved food access initiatives, ensuring everyone in our community has access to nourishing food. ?? Launched new education programs, inspiring the next generation to value sustainability and community. None of this would have been possible without your support. ?? To our donors: Your generosity fuels our mission and allows us to grow—literally and figuratively! To our partners: Thank you for collaborating with us to build a stronger, healthier Evanston. To our volunteers: Your time and dedication are the heart of everything we do. ?? As we plan for 2025, we invite you to continue this journey with us. Together, let’s make an even bigger impact in the coming year! #EvanstonGrows #CommunityImpact #ThankYou #YearEndReflection #UrbanFarming #FoodAccess #Sustainability

Testing, testing … We’ve partnered with non profit @treesthatfeed to learn how to use their solar powered food dehydrator! This is the first of their hybrid solar dehydrators in the USA. ?? Not only does this allow us to preserve food for the winter, but it gives @treesthatfeed the chance to test and continue to perfect the equipment their partners in Haiti, Jamaica, and Uganda are already using. #evanstongrows #evanston #communitygarden #urbanfarming #STEM
