Icewine/Eiswein: What makes Icewine/Eiswein unique? Icewine (Eiswein) is a rare, luxurious dessert wine made from grapes that freeze naturally on the vine, concentrating sugars and flavors. Typically produced in cold climates like Canada and Germany, Icewine boasts an intense sweetness balanced by high acidity, with flavors of tropical fruits, honey, and apricot. It’s harvested at temperatures around -8°C (17.6°F) or lower, often late in winter, and involves a labor-intensive process that results in a richly textured, aromatic wine. Due to the unique production conditions, Icewine is relatively expensive and best enjoyed chilled, often paired with rich desserts or cheeses. #winelovers #icewine #eiswein #euwinery

Marchesi Fassini Chianti Classico D.O.C.G Chianti Classico, with roots tracing back to the 1700s, is not only one of Italy's most historic wine regions but also one of the oldest recognized wine regions globally. Known for its Sangiovese-dominant wines, Chianti’s sub-regions dictate the required minimum percentage of Sangiovese. In the concentrated Chianti Classico DOCG area, at least 80 percent Sangiovese is mandated, while the broader Chianti DOCG region requires a minimum of 70 percent. Chianti Classico wines must age for at least 12 months; if aged for 24 months or more, they earn the designation Chianti Classico Riserva, the highest tier of Chianti Classico. These wines are known for their ripe cherry and plum flavors, often with a green note reminiscent of tomato leaf. Their high acidity makes them an ideal match for the region's signature dish, Pappardelle al cinghiale, a rich wild boar and tomato sauce.

The story behind how Tarón 4M wine is made. The bodega has a total of 700 ha. Split between faur localities of the Rioja Alta: Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón, Tirgo, Sajazarra and Villaseca. lt is from among these vineyards that we select the grapes with which Tarón 4M is made. These are vines with low yields, subject to very careful monitoring of ripening so as to decide the ideal time to harvest. Tasting Notes: Deep cherry colour with a violet rim denoting its youth. Good aromatic intensity of very ripe red-berry fruit, hints of fine patisserie well integrated with the nuances from the cask. Structured with soft, sweet tannins. A general hint of toasted wood, but discreet and friendly, accompanies all these aromatic and taste sensations. Intense in the mouth and long in the finish. Ratings: 90 points James Suckling (2019), 91 points IWSC (2018), 90 points International Wine Challenge (2018). Wines are imported and distributed by EU Winery Vietnam Co., Ltd.
