In total, we collected five trophies for Eurosport's sailing and cycling content, launching TNT Sports in the UK & Ireland, and for further developing our sports proposition on discovery+. The pick of the bunch was the gold award for Best User Experience in commendation of the innovative new product features integrated within our discovery+ streaming platform ahead of a record-breaking Olympic Games #Paris2024 - where together with Max, it was the only place to watch every minute across Europe, peaking at an incredible 54 concurrent live streams. And with the continued rollout of Max across Europe and beyond, these award-winning features are set to revolutionise how sports content is streamed and enjoyed by millions of fans. Last night we celebrated an incredible year of sport alongside leading teams and organisations within the UK sports broadcasting industry. During the Broadcast Sport Awards, we are delighted to announce our record-breaking coverage of the Olympic Games #Paris2024 - delivered to 47 markets and 19 languages across Europe - was recognised as the Sport Production of the Year. ?? Our immersive approach to covering the Games on Eurosport, Max and discovery+ saw us construct a unique studio environment in the heart of the city while providing our viewers with access to every moment live. This included all 329 medal events, peaking at 54 concurrent events on our enhanced streaming services Max and discovery+. This approach saw us reach 215 million people across Europe while quadrupling our streaming audience in the UK specifically (compared to Olympic Games Tokyo 2020). A massive congratulations to all of our teams involved in staging this unique and award-winning production for the 'greatest show on earth'. Together with McCann Worldgroup, we’re delighted that TNT Sports’ campaign for Xbox ‘The everyday tactician’ has been recognised as a winning Week Media Award entrant in the Collaboration category ?? This follows the campaign claiming the Entertainment Lion at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Building on the idea that football fans often believe they could do a better job than professional managers, Xbox searched for a highly skilled player of Football Manager 2024 to join Bromley FC as a genuine football tactician. TNT Sports partnered with Football Manager & McCann to deliver the campaign on TNT Sports YouTube channel where our audience has the opportunity to follow the recruited player as they go from Gamer to Tactician at Bromley ?? Together with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and UEFA, we are proud to support the #UnityEuroCup. Kicking off today, the unique seven-a-side tournament features 16 amateur teams including 180 boys and girls, and 50 support staff from refugee and host communities, competing in 33 matches held in Nyom, Switzerland. The need to raise awareness of the impact of children and young people living within vulnerable communities has never been greater. According to the UNHCR, there are currently more than 117 million forcibly displaced people globally with an estimated 40 per cent aged below 18 years of age. The Unity Euro Cup was founded by the UNHCR and UEFA in 2021 through a shared mission to strengthen the social cohesion and peaceful coexistence of communities. The tournament will enhance social inclusion through football while showcasing the power of sport in uniting communities.
