Thank you to National Council of Teachers of Mathematics - NCTM for inviting us to speak at the annual conference! Our presentation, "Reduce Anxiety using Stories and Pictures to Solve Multi-Step Word Problems" was a huge success, as crowds took away lots of ideas of how we help both students and teachers reduce their anxiety in solving tough state-test problems. A shout out to Pimilco Elementary Middle School for allowing us to strengthen their para educators in mathematics! Those K-5 para educators were sharpening their skills in middle school math and working hard to deepen their love and under standing of the topic. How do we know whether our students are enjoying the sessions? Pictures are worth a 1,000 words right? A shout-out to our amazing tutors Ms. Padma an Ms. Dreemur for building strong student relationships, pushing them to do more than they believe they can do, and having the faith that they will get there regardless of where they started.

A huge shoutout to Brown Education Campus, a K-8 school in Washington DC, for welcoming us to conduct a math workshop for their K-5 teachers. Can you guess what we tackled? Middle school and high school math challenges! We put the teachers in their students' shoes, and they excelled, navigating through the problems with productive struggle, number sense, critical thinking, and determination.To help your students excel in math, you, as an instructor, need to deepen your own connection and dare we say - fall in love with the subject?.

It was awesome to visit our first school in Florida - Education Horizons - in person!
