Amazing things going on in #EUPAHW ?? UGent-ARC is ready to dive into pathogen screening! ?? EUPAHW is launching a project in Belgium to sample both aquaculture farms and wild aquatic environments. The goal is to identify and understand pathogens in farmed and wild aquatic species to enhance disease management and biosecurity in aquaculture. Call for Applications: EUP AH&W Short-Term Missions (STMs) The European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare (EUP AH&W) is pleased to announce the availability of small grants for Short-Term Missions (STMs). These grants aim to foster scientific collaboration and advance animal health and welfare research across Europe by providing a unique opportunity to share scientific expertise, methodologies, equipment, and facilities within the EUP AH&W network. Eligibility All Early Career Researchers (ECRs including doctoral students) employed by member institutes of the EUP AH&W are eligible to apply. Priority Areas Applications must address at least one of the following key EUP AH&W priority areas: ?Surveillance/Monitoring Systems, and Risk Assessment of animal health and welfare. ?Procedures, Methodologies, and Tools to assess animal health and welfare. ?Management and Husbandry Guidelines for farms (including aquaculture), during transport, and at slaughter. ?Vaccines and Treatments to improve animal health and welfare. ?Socio-economic Aspects of animal health and welfare.
