EUCARE is a fellowship programme that will foster knowledge exchange among critical care nurses within EUHA hospitals.
关于我们
The EUCARE initiative is focused on addressing the issue of insufficient international continuous professional development opportunities for critical care nurses. This project aims to create a fellowship that will foster global collaboration and shared learning experiences, ultimately improving the quality of care through exchanging knowledge and expertise and keeping the nursing profession attractive. Ensuring the sustainability of healthcare demands a strategic investment in the development, retention, and attraction of qualified nurses.

On Friday, the 13th of September, the first EUCARE Associated Partners meeting took place. Associated Partners are key participants in the EUCARE project. Although they aren't fully involved in the project, they have the good prospect of sending nurses to participate. This both expands the network and increases general readiness. We had a productive initial meeting, held by the project management team—Alexander Lang (Charité – Universit?tsmedizin, Berlin) and Susanne Maassen (Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam)—along with representatives of the Associated Partners, Lone Hauritz (Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus) and Jessie McCulloch (King’s Health Partners, London). This sets a milestone for the project, and we will continue to hold these meetings every three months until conclusion. Thank you once again for your valuable input and open exchange.

On May 10th, we had the honour of presenting the Eucare Nursing project at a special event held at the Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan to celebrate International Nurses Day. Our three-year initiative, which kicked off last December at Karolinska University Hospital, brings together ten university hospitals in the European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA) network to facilitate the exchange and transfer of clinical knowledge among critical care nurses in Europe. We are proud to be part of this?important?programme, which has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals alike. ?? ?? ?? #internationalnursesday #unisr #sanraffaelemilano #grupposandonato
