EU-HIP - EU interoperability with HERA's IT platform
研究服务
EU-HIP supports national IT systemswith the objective to obtain the needed interoperability with HERA’s IT platform.
关于我们
For intelligence gathering and threat assessment, HERA needs support from the Member States and associated countries, and a comprehensive state-of-the-art IT system generating actionable insights for decision-making is crucial. The upcoming HERA IT platform for intelligence gathering will only be operational if Member States have strong national IT systems that are interoperable with HERA’s IT system and other relevant systems. EU-HIP supports participating countries to enhance and improve national IT systems in an efficient and coordinated manner, with the objective to obtain the needed interoperability with HERA’s IT platform. This will entail developing new IT systems and strengthening as well as aligning existing IT systems for the assessment of health threats and for intelligence gathering in the area of medical countermeasures at national level. Moreover, there is focus on promoting data comparability, and streamlining reporting to different systems. EU-HIP will facilitate integration of national IT systems with the HERA IT platform currently under development, and complement existing systems for early warning and response, epidemic intelligence, public health surveillance and medical countermeasures. This activity is supported by co-funding from the European Union’s EU4Health programme under Grant Agreement Nr 101102774 EU-HIP. Views and opinions expressed do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or HaDEA. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.

EU-HIP - EU interoperability with HERA's IT platform转发了
EU interoperability with HERA's IT platform - the first step towards digital surveillance across the EU for better preparedness and response to public health emergencies. At SPMS, EPE - Servi?os Partilhados do Ministério da Saúde we are working to make it happen! #spms #globaldigitalhealth
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Rome for the #EUHIP Symposium & General Assembly (Oct 21-23)! It was a truly productive meeting, featuring presentations from partners across Europe. Denmark, Lithuania, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, and Norway shared valuable findings from their needs analysis, while Belgium, Slovenia, Romania, Iceland, the Netherlands, and Croatia updated us on the progress they are making within this project. The common goal of all countries is to strenghten existing and develop new IT systems to support the work of HERA and tackle future health emergencies which might arise. At the symposium, participating countries reached a consensus on key priorities to enhance interoperability. Some of them include the implementation of #FAIR data principles, robust #metadata standards, exploring the usage of Electronic Health Records #EHR for surveillance, development of Common Data Models, integradion of standardised terminology like #SNOMEDCT and #LOINC, using standards for data exchange like #FHIRHL7 and strenghtening of national communicable diseases registries. A dynamic discussion of applicable #AI solutions in Public Health underlined the need for good-quality data to support decision-making. A special thank you to the European Commission, DG #HERA representatives for providing a comprehensive update on #ATHINA's development. A heartfelt thanks to the BE READY Pandemic Preparedness project for their insightful presentation—learn more about their important work here: https://lnkd.in/e7VRZr4p Stay tuned for further updates in our upcoming newsletter: https://eepurl.com/iBywpw

AMR data sharing is caring! To fight against #AMR we need to collect and share data among countries with the aim to identify bacteria which are developing resistance, to track and predict future epidemics. Countries within our #EUHIP consortium are already part of multiple international platforms for sharing such data. The most commonly used is #TESSy
