The digital identity regulation is now in force. This means that Member States are required to offer at least one EU Digital Identity Wallet to all Citizens and Residents by 2026.? ? As a next step, the Commission will prepare?implementing?acts that define the specifications needed to build inter-operable EU Digital Identity Wallets that all feature the same high level of security and data protection, while working seamlessly across the EU. ??
