Talks will resume this week at the FAO Headquarters in Rome. Key items on the compact agenda: ???????????????? ???????????????????????? – Securing $200 billion annually for biodiversity initiatives by 2030 for e.g. the implementation of the #NBSAPs. ???????????? ?????????????????? ?????????????????? – Establishing a system to effectively distribute biodiversity funding. ???????????????????? ?????????????????? – Finalising tools to measure progress on the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (#KMGBF). ???????????? ?????????????????? – Deciding on processes to review implementation progress at COP17, including contributions from non-state actors. #COP16Resumed will be vital in ensuring that ambitious biodiversity targets are realised, to maintain positive momentum and ensure the successful implementation of the KMGBF.
