ETX LEGENDS Coffee Co. was born out of the journey that Owners Ben and Amanda Holmes have walked through, and continue to walk through, together. From Ben’s years of service in the Marine Corps and into his transition as a Law Enforcement Officer, he refused to let his PTSD define him. Through a period of looking inward and finding his true purpose, Ben left Law Enforcement and made a career change into ranching. With Amanda's support, they made the decision to uproot their family and move to a Ranch in East Texas, also known as "ETX"! It is here, over many conversations and cups of coffee, where they have continued to explore their re-defined purpose under the principle that life is too short to be ordinary. Centered around their faith, family and their community, their hope is that you reflect and engage in conversations that lead you to live out your purpose, one cup of coffee at a time. Did you know that each Quarter, our small business donates a portion of our profits to organizations that support our Veterans? But as we close our books on Q1 2024, we felt called to donate to the Texas Department of Agriculture State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund (STAR Fund). Our donation will help support the West Texas ranching communities, many of which are Veteran operated, who continue to rebuild from the catastrophic loss of 1.2 million acres that were devastated by fire earlier this year. Last month, Ben had the opportunity to drive with a caravan of rigs to the Texas Panhandle to donate hay and our coffee. The pictures he took out West don't do the devastation justice. It will take years for these families to rebuild their ranching operations and infrastructure, so we are humbled to be able to give and help towards a very small fraction of their losses.
