Just hanging out with these cool kids for the day and discovering all the fun things to do in Etowah County! ?? Students from schools across the county learned about local tourism by visiting Noccalula Falls Park for mini-golf and hiking, grabbing lunch at Blackstone Pizza Kitchen, and tackling rock climbing at GadRock. ????? They also explored Downtown Gadsden, stopping by Sinful Sweetz featuring Cakes by Lee, and heard from Greater Gadsden Area Tourism about their work promoting our area. Such a fun day celebrating all we have right here in our backyard! ?? A big thank you to everyone who made this day possible for our students! ??

The Alabama State Small Business Awards were a huge success! Congratulations to The Blueprint Taxes & Services on placing 3rd in the state as Emerging Business of the Year! We were so happy to be able to support them at the event. Very grateful to have them represent Etowah County, and to be such huge advocates for our community. ????

Local students from across Etowah County recently had the unique opportunity to connect with several first responder departments who work tirelessly to keep us safe every day! ??????♂? During their visit to the Pierce Range Training Facility in Gadsden, they met with the Gadsden Police Department. They also met Gadsden and Rainbow City Fire Departments, and the Gadsden/Etowah County Emergency Management Agency. ???? They also heard from the experts at Jax State's Center for Applied Forensics as well as the Etowah County Coroner's Office. A huge thank you to the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our community—and for taking the time to inspire and educate our future leaders! ????
