The ERLC sent a letter to the Trump transition team with policies to prioritize in President Trump’s first 100 days: 1?? Reinforce policies that ensure the government does not fund abortion. 2?? Withhold government funding for abortion providers, domestically and abroad 3?? Revoke President Biden’s executive order directing agencies to implement radical gender and sexuality policies. 4?? Rescind the anti-life, anti-religious liberty, and pro-gender ideology policies advanced by the Biden administration. 5?? Reverse the Biden administration’s actions that expanded “access” to the abortion pill. You can read the full letter here: https://bit.ly/4fLXqI3

We’re so proud of our own Hannah Daniel!
I was so honored to receive this year's Outstanding Young Alumna Award from Union University. I'm so grateful for my time at Union and the incredible faculty and staff, including Dr. Dub Oliver, who have invested so much in me and encouraged me in my journey both personally and professionally. Go bulldogs! https://lnkd.in/edFrAemv

As an organization that works in the policy space, elections bring an opportunity to talk about voting. No matter the election or candidates running, we want our audience to know that voting is an opportunity for Christians to stand for truth and to love our neighbor. All followers of Jesus should steward this responsibility well and pray for God's guidance as we elect our nation's leaders. Here are 5 ways you can be ready to vote in this year's election: 1?? Make sure you’re registered. 2?? Block out time to vote, and check for your polling place. 3?? Learn more about the policies, platforms, and voting history of the candidates. 4?? Research the candidates running for state and local offices. 5?? Visit ERLC.com/ballot to see if your state has an abortion initiative on the ballot, and learn how your vote can make a stand for life. You can find more election resources at ERLC.com/ballot.

Pastors are some of the core people we seek to serve. This month is Pastor Appreciation Month, so we've chosen 3 resources that were made specifically to support pastors in this uniquely challenging election year. Last year, we reached out to pastors to ask what difficult issues they regularly encounter. The top answers we heard were related to questions and criticisms about politics and issues related to gender and sexuality. The constant tension around these and other topics often leads to mental health struggles for pastors. In light of this feedback, we've created the following resources to support pastors in the good work they're doing in their churches: ? The Nations Belong to God: A Christian Guide to Political Engagement: https://bit.ly/3LMJJM2 ? God's Good Design: A Practical Guide for Answering Gender Confusion: https://bit.ly/3Y0Jumk ? Our team enjoyed hosting Vice President Mike Pence at our auxiliary event last week during the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention. He shared how his faith in Jesus shaped his role as a public servant. “One of the greatest honors of my life was to be your vice president. I’m incredibly proud of the record of our administration and proud of the team that we had around us and what we accomplished, with a lot of help from ERLC.” — VP Mike Pence We were also honored to kick off our event with a ministry panel featuring Dana Hall McCain and Jon Kelly. Both panelists shared practical ways that pastors and ministry leaders can help remind their church members that the gospel is ultimate, not politics. Thank you to all who joined us at our event and in our booth at #SBC24. #BringHope
