Let’s be real: If you’re in HR, chances are you’ve misinterpreted a law or two and looked back with a face like: ?? ?? ??. We get it. This stuff is hard. If you’re looking to level up your game, join Melanie Naranjo, VP of People at Ethena, and Lisa Horgan, Employment Attorney at Littler, on Thursday, October 24th (1pm ET | 10am PT). RSVP: https://hubs.la/Q02Sq7m20 They’ll be diving headfirst into a candid discussion on the most common legal mistakes HR professionals make—and how to avoid them. From reasonable accommodations and terminations to employee investigations and discrimination claims, we’ve got you covered. What you’ll learn: ?? Top legal slip-ups, and how to steer clear of them ?? Tips for staying on top of changing legal requirements ?? Big picture strategies for reducing your risk while keeping it real You should attend if you’re: ?? Thirsty for some inside tea on the most common legal mistakes ?? Keen to avoid making the front page news — and not in a good way ?? Not in the mood to get sued

We had a blast catching up with 2x customer Hemma R. at #SCCE! She led an incredible workshop, Ideation Station, with Ashley Dubriwny, M.Ed., CCEP-I. The takeaway? We’re always better together. ??

Our CEO Roxanne Bras Petraeus shared a few fun takeaways from her time at #SCCEcei this week!
I'm now happily back home after a few days at SCCE. My son welcomed me back with a meltdown over the pants I picked for him this morning (note to self: blue is no longer his favorite color!) ?? A few fun takeaways from the conference: 1. As the new kid on the vendor block, it was really encouraging to see how excited compliance leaders are about Ethena's fresh approach. I saw a few eyes get metaphorically teary when people learned they could do role-based compliance training assignments *even if their HRIS data is bad.* 2. Chris Vandermarel is a marketing genius. His lego sets were such a hit, especially with the parent crowd, which makes sense given Chris's dad-credentials. And Tess Manning and Elizabeth Fruhmann can start a conversation from a mile away! 3. I am *delighted* to get to go outside again! I get so antsy not seeing the sun that I'm thinking next year, we do an Ethena-sponsored hike or morning yoga or something? Discuss. And thanks, Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) for the great event!

Yesterday at #SCCEcei, Ethena's CEO, Roxanne Bras Petraeus, shared how most hotlines are underutilized and training programs outdated. She highlighted a modern approach where hotlines generate actionable data, informing agile, role-based training that's more dynamic and efficient than traditional methods. Adaptive learning, test-outs, and risk-based training are not just possible – they're easier to implement. ?? We're excited to see more of you today! Be sure to swing by booth #322 to say hello to the Ethena team! #SCCEcei #ComplianceTraining #Ethena #BetterTogether
