New integration partner just dropped ?? We're excited to announce a new product integration with Vanta, which will make tracking for cybersecurity training easier than ever! The Ethena <> Vanta integration?allows admins to integrate Ethena’s training records and system access records with Vanta. This lets customers automate tracking to show whether tests are passing or failing their company’s specified Vanta frameworks. ?? TL;DR: This integration will help you: ? Save time: No more manual data collection for compliance frameworks. ? Simplify compliance: Automatically track training and system access tests to meeting frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.? ? Be audit-ready: Keeps your Vanta records up-to-date for smoother audits. #cybersecurity #cybersecuritytraining #vanta #compliance

HR leaders seem to have two great, opposing fears when rolling out their company's first employee hotline. The biggest fear is that they will be inundated with what can be described as "lifestyle" complaints: The AC is too cold (isn't it always), my co-worker is a loud chewer, etc. The second fear is that no one will use the hotline, which will cause people to wonder whether employees don't feel comfortable raising issues. Both of these fears are totally valid! Especially when you're a lean HR team, the idea that you'll suddenly be buried in reports is scary. Ashley Herd, Colin Slade and I will be addressing these fears in tomorrow's Ethena webinar, How to roll out an employee hotline that doesn’t backfire. What other fears do you want us to address? We're aiming to make this as tactical and relevant as possible!

Could saying you have a speak-up culture actually be dangerous? ?? Behind phrases like “My door's always open” and “We want to hear from you”, Ethena CEO Roxanne Bras Petraeus found an uncomfortable truth: saying it doesn’t make it so. Roxanne recently took to the Corporate Compliance Insights blog to share how her experience in the military shaped not only her role as a leader, but how she approaches serving Ethena's customers. "In uniform, I noticed that leaders who emphasized that they had an 'open door' policy were typically leaders who actually didn’t want to learn about misconduct happening in their unit. They knew that they were supposed to say they had an open door policy, but then they checked it off their list." Keep reading ?? https://lnkd.in/eTSQ4fNV #compliance #military #vets #veterans

?? Got a hotline that’s hardly used – or rolling one out for the first time and not sure where to start? ?? An anonymous reporting channel can either build serious trust or, if mishandled, create more issues ?? (think: team members doubting true anonymity or shock that reports go to the organization!). To make your hotline a real tool for trust and transparency, there are four key steps you must take. Join Ethena's CEO, Roxanne Bras Petraeus, Colin Slade VP of People at Cloudbeds, and Ashley Herd, Founder of Manager Method & HR Besties Podcast Co-Host, as they dive into creating a true "speak up" culture ??. RSVP: https://hubs.la/Q02T4S9g0 What you’ll learn: ?? Choosing & rolling out a tool for anonymous reporting and HR investigations ?? Educating your team on how to use (and not to use!) the tool ?? Employees are more well-versed in their employment rights than ever before. And that's a good thing: The better educated our employees are, the better equipped they'll be to help us foster safe and successful workplaces. But what happens when employees misinterpret the law, incorrectly throwing around weighty terms like discrimination and retaliation for everything from switching up your in-office food options to carrying out valid performance management practices? Like it or not, it's happening. And it's up to us as HR professionals to figure out how to tactfully address this challenge head on. Join us for a direct and practical chat on handling these tricky situations, including how to mine for underlying issues and say the tough thing while keeping it clear and empathetic. Featuring insights from Melanie Naranjo, Chief People Officer at Ethena, and Chantelle Cappa Egan, Partner & Head of Advice & Counsel Practice Group at Medina McKelvey LLP, this session on Monday, November 4th (4pm ET | 1pm PT) will help you navigate these delicate dynamics and nuanced situations and keep your workplace fair, clear, and effective.
