Although I estimate AI was mentioned 4,973 times, my experience at eTail? West proved that the future of retail is not just about the technology… it’s about the people.
Yes, AI, omnichannel technology, UX optimization, and emerging tech dominated the conversation. I was particularly digging deep on AI-driven creative production, retail media evolutions, and advancements in incrementally and MMM. And I gave a hallelujah to the long overdue application of AI to reducing returns.
But more than anything, last week was a powerful reminder that the real advancement happens when retail executives, partner-side leaders, media champions, tech savants, and leading analysts come together to share, problem solve, and drive the industry forward.
Getting together a thriving, passionate community dedicated to creating better experiences and serving our customers in more meaningful ways will always lead us to better outcomes.
Just a handful of the many leaders I was grateful to spend time with last week, with my January Digital partners JB Brokaw and Christopher Berg by my side:
Cornell S. McGee III, Lauren Zarzour, Sarah Zurell, Megan M., Sam Carter, David Weissman, Cindy Marshall, Jason Grunberg, Michael Cantrell, David Cooper, Jill Manoff, Anne Mezzenga, Henry Spear, Jordan Roberson, Jill Dvorak, MBA, Darcy McGuire, Emily Wander, Suzy Davidkhanian, Greg Carder, Hugo Hiley, Scott Ohsman, Jonathan Weiss, ?? Brent W Peterson, Sarah Cascone, Paul Z., Katherine Cullen... and so many more!
Let’s build together, turn ideas into action, and make 2025 a year of real impact!
