She graduated with a Master’s degree in Construction Management from UT Arlington and has a diverse background in construction estimating, giving her the skillset to excel on any project she undertakes. Divvya took a leap of faith, diving into an industry that she was unsure of. Once she got started, she immediately became interested in learning more. ? Why I Love Construction: “It's amazing to see something transition from paper to reality. Every building is unique in its design, and each construction project fills you with pride and a sense of accomplishment.” ?? Elissia Garcia (Assistant Estimator): As an Assistant Estimator for E+S, Elissia has been in the construction industry for four years. Her introduction to the construction industry was through a residential builder, where she worked as a VPO processor. This led her to estimating, transitioning first within residential construction and then to the subcontracting side.?Driven by a desire to work on larger and more complex projects she then pursued commercial estimating,?which has proven to be a great fit. ?
