Representatives from the State of Vermont Banking Regulations visited Essex High School for a career talk. The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners talked with the students about career opportunities in the following industries - banking, insurance, securities (investing), and captive insurance. They also discussed personal financial awareness and what the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation does.

The latest Essex High School's Global Leadership Program Speaker Series, in partnership with the Institute for Global Engagement at Saint Michael's College, featured Loung Ung. Ung, an alumna of both Essex High School and Saint Michael's College, is an author, activist, and co-screenwriter.

Center for Technology, Essex's Computer Systems Technology students attended the Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) event hosted by Champlain College. This summit is a platform for students, professionals, and enthusiasts in cybersecurity to come together, share knowledge, and forge meaningful connections. The keynote speaker for this year's event was Lynn Dohm the Executive Director of WiCys. #EWSD
