Earlier this week, our chief medical officer, Saria Saccocio MD MHA FAAFP, and Jason Oberfest, VP of Healthcare at ōURA, took the stage at ViVE for a conversation on how wearable technology is transforming care for older adults. Moderated by Hospitalogy’s Blake Madden, the discussion explored how wearable devices like the Oura Ring empower older adults to take charge of their health, improve sleep and reduce healthcare costs. With a growing number of Oura users over 50, many of whom are highly engaged at 65+, Dr. Saccocio and Jason shared how older adults benefit from continuous health tracking. They also discussed how partnerships like the one between Essence Healthcare and Oura are redefining care for Medicare populations by integrating preventive health strategies, individualized care and real-time data into clinical decision-making.
