PRODUCTION MANAGER ***$1,500.00 HIRING BONUS AFTER 120 WORKING DAYS*** We are a well-established glass Company of 30+ years in the Construction Industry looking for an experienced and well-versed individual to join our busy team as our Production manager/Estimator for a long-term permanent position. Although training will be provided, experience with construction and management is required. The right candidate for this position must have the following abilities and qualifications: Must?be knowledgeable about glass shower doors Must be well organized and have good memory retention Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail a must Capable of handling a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking throughout the day Able to communicate easily with a wide range of individuals all the while providing excellent customer service Ability to prioritize daily tasks and utilize time management skills Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel. Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus Must have a reliable attendance record and dedication to the position Personality traits should include leadership skills, confidence, and friendliness. Job duties would include, but are not limited to: Manage 10 installation teams Oversee daily operations of warehouse fabrication Ensure that the field and shop follow company policies and safety standards Ensure that shop production meets quality standards Monitor production activities for on-time delivery Assist employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination activities Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Investigate production issues and develop resolutions Manage daily workload given to team members Responsible for tracking daily schedule of 10 trucks Observes and coaches’ personnel on work related issues Estimating for residential and small commercial projects Position is Monday-Friday and can vary a bit, late nights and rarely weekends .
