The Allendale Women’s Board is dedicated to supporting some of Illinois’ most at-risk children. This year, we introduced a new approach to fundraising with the Après Ski | Aspen event on February 22nd, bringing our community together for a unique experience while raising over $200,000—and counting—for Allendale’s life-changing work. 2025 has been off to a great start for photography (other things are open for interpretation). I've gotten to photograph: 1. A personal hero, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, 2. The inspiration for a bunch of stupid anti-trans hysteria, the lovely Dylan Mulvaney, 3,4. a pair of huge names from the 80's Paul Reiser and Brooke Shields, 5,6. a couple of awesome concerts featuring jazz inspired by South African musician Johnny Dyani and Destroyer, 7. The Metro Chicago All State Girls hockey game and, 8. Hakeem Jeffries. The Chicago Polar Plunge for Special Children's Charities, Illinois Housing Council's Affordable Housing Conference and the Landmarks Illinois Preservation Forward gala were also in the mix. It's a good thing that I like the variety. I learn so much at each of these events and get to meet tons of amazing people. Thanks to amazing clients for having me along for the ride.
