‘An important message’—eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman - Grant tackles Australia's progress in combating online harm in ABC’s RN Breakfast Program. She urges tech companies to utilize their existing capabilities to detect and prevent livestreamed child sexual abuse material (CSAM). For too long, tech companies have distributed products (i.e. phones), services, platforms, and apps that have little to no safety by design features to prevent or disrupt the production and distribution of CSAM. This federal election, IJM calls on all Australian parliamentarians to commit to introducing a digital duty of care. Full interview here: https://lnkd.in/geEwbfv8
