"We've developed the solution to replace fossil fuel." According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the cumulative volume of decommissioned solar panels is projected to increase significantly in the coming decades – reaching nearly 50 million metric tons by 2040, and more than 200 million metric tons by 2050.??These projections underscore the importance of developing effective end-of-life management strategies for solar plants. In addition to recycling, this means cost-effective decommissioning operations. Enter Erthos. Earth Mount Solar is installed quickly by small teams working mostly with their hands. There's minimal noise, minimal dust, minimal disruption. And the end result is a solar power plant that's an inch-and-a-half tall and uses less than half the land of a conventional tracker system.
