Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium yuccifolium) is a deep-rooted, native perennial that thrives best in full sun and can be found in moist woods, meadows, and barrens. It’s best recognized for its unique seedhead that has sharp, pointed bracts, giving it a bristly appearance. This fluffy-seeded plant is deer-resistant and has a high pollinator value as it is useful to pollinators, including flies, bees, and butterflies. It can grow up to 4 feet tall and blooms spherical white flowers during the summer months.
