How do you use your personal branding images? Well, there are many options! Here are a few! First off, they are great for use on your website. They can give the person going through your website insight into who you are and how you can help solve their problems. They are also great for blog posts on your website to add more interest and break up the text on your blog posts, making them easier to read. Use them in your email marketing. The more a person sees your face, the sooner they will feel like they know you and in return, will start to like and trust you more quickly. I also love using mine in my email signature for this same reason! You can also use them for your social media marketing, just like I'm using for this post! You can use interest poses like this one to get people's attention. You can also uses images of you working, relaxing, or just looking professional. The type of image you use with your social media posts will depend on the content of the post and what you want to viewer to do! What kind of personal branding images do you think you'd like best? Branding photos can be done on a backdrop or they can be done in your space capturing you hard at work. I love the photos I captured at Pederson Pottery of Ryan creating beautiful pieces of art on his pottery wheel. It was sooooo cool watching him work. One of the things I truly love about branding photos like this--I get to watch awesome things happen! I've been really working hard these last few months to have gratitude for all of the things that I do have and all of the things that I know are coming to me. Being a small business owner isn't always easy and it doesn't always feel like I'm making progress. Being alive and living life isn't always easy either. But when I sit down and think about it, I really have so much to be grateful for. As I've practiced gratitude, I have noticed that I am in a much better mood and it's easier to pull myself out of any funks I get into. I'm not saying that practicing gratitude will help get you out of depression, you should still seek professional help for that, but I just wanted to share that writing down 10 things every day that I am grateful for has helped me a lot. And when I take the time to write my list in the morning, it usually makes the rest of my day much easier. Mickey's family was in town visiting over Thanksgiving last year so he booked a session to get photos of all his kids and grandkids. It was ridiculously cold that day so we made the session short and sweet. We moved everyone around with their jackets on and one we had the shot laid out, everyone took their jackets and we got busy! I went to his place and hung his wall art on the landing of the stairs so it can easily be seen as anyone is walking around downstairs. Mickey is so excited to have this portrait of his beautiful family hanging on his wall.
