We’re honored to recognize the incredible records personnel at the Erie Police Department during Law Enforcement Records Personnel Week, November 4-8, 2024. These dedicated individuals work to support our community by helping maintain public safety, assisting in the criminal justice process, and keeping essential records organized and accessible. Their expertise and dedication contribute to Erie’s law enforcement efforts. A special thanks to Mayor Brooks for officially proclaiming this week in the Oct. 22 council meeting to honor these remarkable team members and all police records personnel who serve with professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.

In Erie, the co-responder and officer partner to provide a compassionate, mobile response to those in need across various community settings. Together, they conduct mental health assessments, including suicide and risk evaluations, ensuring that individuals receive the care and support they need. By working closely with schools, hospitals, families, and other agencies, co-responders help connect community members to essential services.
