This week the Erickson-Hall Team attended a beam signing celebration marking the topping- out of the Duarte High School Sports Complex. The celebration was attended by the District, members of the Duarte High School community, the Architect, the Construction Teams, and the many hard-working trades personnel contributing to the success of the project. The placing of the beam was followed by a celebratory luncheon to commemorate the event. Erickson-Hall is providing Construction Management Services to the Duarte Unified School District for the site development at Duarte High School that includes a new tilt-up Gymnasium Building housing a main basketball court with two cross courts, an entrance lobby with ticketing, concessions, trophy cases, restrooms, rear building areas for team rooms, equipment storage, weight training, a dance studio, and mechanical and electrical support spaces.?The project is scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2025. Congratulations to the entire project team for reaching this exciting milestone in the project.

The Erickson-Hall Team in partnership with Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday to celebrate the completion of La Mirada High School's new, state-of-the-art athletic fields and facilities. This comprehensive project is a significant investment in the school’s athletic program, adding fields and facilities to support seven distinct sports and their student athletes. “We are thrilled to unveil these new athletic facilities that will enhance the student experience at La Mirada High School for years to come,” said Estuardo Santillan, Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Interim Superintendent. “This project is a testament to the District's commitment to providing our students with top-tier resources that support their physical and personal development. Thanks to Erickson-Hall Construction Co.'s outstanding work, our students now have access to safe, modern spaces where they can pursue their athletic goals, while the entire community benefits from a facility that will serve as a central hub for sports, gatherings and school pride.” Erickson-Hall transformed the school’s athletic grounds with this project, adding modern, fully accessible facilities supporting a wide range of sports and activities. Highlights of the new facilities include two softball fields, a football and soccer field, one baseball field, six tennis courts, four volleyball courts, and five basketball courts. The project also features a baseball infield practice field, new concessions and storage buildings, expanded parking, and ADA accessibility enhancements. Several key infrastructure improvements were also included, such as a fully accessible ADA path, upgraded electrical systems and a campus-wide ornamental steel fence, increasing safety for students and visitors alike.
