    "Together for Diversity: Growing Together." ?? With this motto the DIVERSITY Conference 2024 once again demonstrated the importance of a diverse and open society for economic innovation and growth. ?? One focus of the conference was generational diversity – a topic that is highly relevant to us at ERGO. With an average employee age of 45, we are actively addressing how to bring together Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, Millennials, and Gen Zers in the workplace. Our Labour Director, Dr. Lena Lindemann, shared valuable practical insights on this topic during the Leadership Chat with Jutta Rump. She emphasised the need for a holistic approach that sees generational diversity not only as a challenge but as an opportunity for growth. At ERGO, we focus on: ?? Understanding generations ??     Sick on holiday? A nightmare, especially if you don't speak the local language or understand how the local healthcare system works. In this case, ERGO Reiseversicherung AG supports its customers in Germany and Spain in finding a doctor and making an appointment from anywhere in the world. To this end, ERGO is cooperating with the start-up Air Doctor. Customers can use the Air Doctor app or website to access over 20,000 specialists and general practitioners in over 75 countries worldwide. Users can filter the application by medical specialty, availability or language skills of the doctors. They receive an appointment via the app within 45 minutes and can thus get prescriptions issued promptly in order to obtain the medication they need. ERGO Reiseversicherung and Air Doctor settle the bill for the doctor's visit afterwards. Customers without a deductible do not have to pay in advance. The offer has convinced ERGO Reiseversicherung’s customers: almost nine out of ten would recommend it. Many thanks for making this cooperation so successful to Jens Gruss, Claudia Wetzstein, Ruben Galan Garcia, Hanbing Ma, CFA, Ilana Fletcher, Arie Gorin, Yifat Ben Yehuda, Efrat Sagi-Ofir, Jenny Cohen Derfler and to many ERV colleagues as well as colleagues from Group Functions such as IT, Data Protection and Purchasing.
