Erdman Anthony played a key role in bringing the excitement of the Washington Kastles tennis team to a unique outdoor venue on the roof of Union Market in Washington, DC. Our team provided electrical, HVAC, and lighting design for this pop-up stadium, which featured a 700-seat capacity, VIP dining areas, and electrified features like a jumbotron! Completed in just seven months, this project brought the action outdoors, creating an unforgettable experience for fans and drawing new visitors to the vibrant Union Market area. From court lighting to temperature control, we ensured everything was in place for a winning season! ????? Read more about this project: https://bit.ly/4kha0Co

Great news! ?? Alumni Hall has earned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification, which is the highest level of recognition from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This achievement makes Alumni Hall the first LEED Platinum building on campus and one of only nine LEED Platinum buildings in The State University of New York system! Originally constructed in 1958 as the campus’ first library, Alumni Hall underwent an extensive renovation led by Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation, LLP that completely transformed the building. The project began in 2021 and was completed in September 2023. Learn more below:

February is Black History Month, and we'd like to recognize Frederick Pelham, born in Detroit in 1864, a pioneering civil engineer known for his lasting impact on bridge design. One of Pelham’s most famous creations, the Skew Arch Bridge in Dexter, Michigan, is a testament to his ingenuity. Designed to stand the test of time, his bridges—spanning roads and rivers—continue to serve us today. Pelham’s legacy proves the strength of perseverance, innovation, and the powerful role Black engineers have played in shaping our infrastructure.
