Last week, our Chief Operating Officer, Jeffrey J Hurd accepted the Legacy of Impact Award from?Thurgood Marshall College Fund on behalf of Equitable and AllianceBernstein. Through Equitable Holding’s decade-long partnership with TMCF, we have worked to leverage our big systems to provide pathways for students to get to and through college and supports K-12 educators with enhanced instructional and leadership skills. Through integrated programming with TMCF, including participation in the Leadership Institute, DevCon, and the Teacher Quality Retention Program (TQRP), we can directly contribute to the development of fellows and alumni within the TMCF’s community, aiding their mission to impact scholars and their educational pathways. Later this month, we’ll bring our Spotlighting Bright Futures program to more than 400 TMCF scholars where they will get an up-close look at the many diverse and rewarding career opportunities available across Equitable as well as AB.
