ELFA’s Survey of Equipment Finance Activity (SEFA) is the most comprehensive source of statistical information available on the $1 trillion equipment leasing and finance industry.?Participation in the survey is a benefit of ELFA membership, and companies that participate in the survey receive ? a free copy of the SEFA report ? a customized Individual Company Data Sheet and MySEFA interactive dashboard that enables your company to evaluate how your operations and performance compares to your competition. ? Previous years’ participants were sent a data response form in mid-February. NEW RELEASE??: The CapEx Finance Index (CFI), formerly the Monthly Leasing and Finance Index, was released today showing new equipment financing declined in January as demand was pulled forward from December. Much of the overall decline came from the banking sector and conditions are expected to normalize going forward. Financial conditions remain healthy and the sector is well-positioned to deal with whatever comes its way in 2025. Commenting on the results, Mitch Rice, CEO of Commercial Capital Company, LLC, said, "Despite macro-economic and political uncertainty, we anticipate companies will still look for creative financing solutions. They're seeking greater flexibility and simplified, frictionless processes to address their evolving needs. Recognizing this demand, the industry is undergoing a widespread focus on technological enhancement to deliver more efficient and effective solutions and services.
