Equipment Finance Industry Confidence on the Rise! The Foundation has just released the November 2024 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI), showing a positive shift upward. Our dedicated Foundation Research Committee met today to work on developing the 2025 research priorities, and we couldn't be more excited about the action items for next year. ? Foundation Research Committee Chair Valerie L. Gerard honored Board Trustee Will Tefft with the Steven R. LeBarron Award for Principled Research during the Board‘s annual meeting. He has been a member of the Foundation Research Committee (FRC) and a Foundation Trustee since 2020. In that time, he has been the lead?in developing the Foundation’s Vertical Market Outlook Series?of reports and the associated vertical podcast series. He has been instrumental in the development of podcast episodes covering trucking, IT equipment, additive manufacturing,?and corporate aircraft, among other topics.?This award is presented annually in memory of Steven LeBarron to the FRC member who demonstrates the insight, fortitude, and dedication he exemplified.
