Woke to a mini Colorado blizzard outside USAFA, but that did not slow down CAHED members from their Winter Conference. Much gratitude ?? to the Board for having me speak on Innovation. Leveraging my Army Engineer Officer background and service on two greenfield hospitals, we were able to work through case studies broken into 12 teams. I then was able to stay for the rest of the conference and learned from friends Andy Draper and Teal Heath, FACHE, RN about sustainability and AI and leadership. I took lots of notes!!!!

Thank you CAHED for a great event today and the opportunity to chat about navigating healthcare technology in the modern era with Andy Draper, Teal Heath, FACHE, RN, Todd Fenske, RCDD, OSP, RTPM, and Eric J Larsen! I learned so much about hospital design and was blown away by all that goes into the infrastructure, cellular coverage, and service that I take for granted in my day-to-day work on clinical software. It was also so refreshing talking to several small business owners and hearing their stories and passion for what they do!
