Last night at the University of Houston Sugar Land campus, we participated in an incredible town hall hosted by Judge Christian Becerra and Councilwoman Jennifer Lane, focused on one of the most critical issues of our time—suicide prevention. ?? The turnout was nothing short of amazing, with law enforcement, community leaders, and concerned citizens coming together to make a difference. We were deeply moved by The Castro Family, who bravely shared their story after losing their daughter just two months ago. Their strength reminds us why this work is so vital. This is just the beginning, and together, we can create real change. ?? It’s time for a paradigm shift. Make sure you’re at the next meeting—being educated and involved is crucial. Let’s continue to break the silence and support one another. ?? Sugar Land Town Hall: Open to the Public ??Location:University of Houston at Sugar Land?? ?? Date: October 17, 2024?? ?
