??Continuing the learnings from our residential program, we hosted the first virtual session with our Gender Accelerator Program’s inaugural cohort. This session, Beyond Compliance: Strengthening PoSH Implementation, focused on strengthening workplace safety beyond legal mandates. A huge thank you to our facilitators, Meghana Srinivas and Nitya S. from TrustIn, for leading an insightful and action-driven discussion. We also appreciate the active participation of Transform Rural India, ACCESS Development Services, Indus Action, Pratham Education Foundation, Professional Assistance For Development Action (PRADAN), Rocket Learning, Janaagraha, and S M Sehgal Foundation for their engagement and commitment to action! Here are some of the takeaways from the session: ? The PoSH compliance scorecard offered a reality check on where organizations stand in policy implementation. ? Understanding intersectionality—caste, class, gender, disability, and regionality—showed why every case of sexual harassment is complex and requires a nuanced approach. ? A structured guide on “must-have” and “good-to-have” policies highlighted key steps for safer workplaces. ? Organizations drafted a 3-year action plan to bridge existing gaps in PoSH implementation. This is just the beginning. As the cohort progresses, we look forward to continued learning, action, and impact in strengthening gender-equitable workplaces. #GenderAccelerator #PoSH #InclusiveWorkplaces #WomenInLeadership
