Equans' Nuclear teams have signed a major contract to supply the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for the new Sizewell C nuclear power station - supporting the UK's low-carbon future. Building on the business' experience at Hinkley Point C, this project will benefit from proven designs and expertise – enabling faster delivery, cost efficiencies, and helping to maintain the highest safety standards in one of the most complex engineering environments. Once operational, Sizewell C will generate low-carbon electricity for around six million homes and play a critical role in supporting the UK’s energy security and net zero ambitions. Equans is proud to contribute its international nuclear industry expertise to this landmark project - enabling reliable, safe and resilient energy solutions to the UK. New partnership announcement??? We're partnering with Anchor, England's largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people in later life, to create a new Anchor Repairs and Property Service in the North-East of England. ? Equans has been awarded the largest deal under Anchor’s new repairs and planned works model – delivering repairs and maintenance for 18,000 residences at 420 locations across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East of England,. In the North East, a new wholly-owned subsidiary will provide a 24-hour, 365 day per year repairs response service to Anchor's residents in the region.
