“I wanted her in the room to bounce treatment questions off of” Leverne was diagnosed with breast cancer at 59. She did not understand the ramifications or have the proper knowledge about breast cancer. Equal Hope’s Nurse Navigator was able to provide clinical support and explain the recommended treatment options. Leverne felt reassured with Equal Hope by her side, as the Nurse Navigator explained everything, told her what to expect and helped connect the dots for her.
