?? Epirus x Palantir Technologies ?? We’ve joined the second cohort of Palantir’s Warp Speed Program, a manufacturing OS for American re-industrialization designed to provide speed, flexibility and security for modern industrial production. “Deploying Palantir Warp Speed underscores our commitment to accelerating production capabilities and meeting increasing demand as defense transitions from a ‘1-to-1’ to a ‘1-to-many’ mindset for short-range air defense.” -Epirus CEO Andy Lowery

BREAKING: Today we're announcing a $250 million Series D fundraise to hyperscale Leonidas? production capability for critical asset protection. ? We have arrived at a new era in warfare. Today’s battlefields are littered with thousands of low-cost, highly networked and highly distributed threats, capable of overwhelming traditional defenses through sheer volume and agility. ? To keep pace, we must move from a "1 to 1" engagement mindset to "1 to many.”? ? That's why Epirus built Leonidas?—a solid-state, software-defined, high-energy, high-power microwave technology that delivers unmatched counter-electronics capabilities. Tested and proven as a scalable counter-swarm solution, Leonidas? features an open architecture, unlimited magazine and demonstrated non-kinetic effects against a range of electronic threats. ? The investment will enable Epirus to grow and acquire the best talent, improve supply chain resiliency, upgrade internal systems and processes, expand into international and commercial markets and increase our innovation and manufacturing footprint in the U.S.? ? The future of defense is here—and we’re building it at scale.

?? Epirus x Peraton We're announcing a teaming agreement with Peraton, the world's leading mission capabilities integrator. Together, we'll collaborate on a Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Information Analysis Center (IAC) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) recently awarded by the U.S. Air Force’s 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron. This partnership is a microcosm of how the defense industrial base can best position itself for victory in the age of asymmetric warfare. With Peraton’s trusted reputation across ISR, C2, cyber and other national security solutions paired with Epirus’ neo-prime operating model and expertise in next-generation short range air defense, the partnership stands to unlock new capabilities for DoD.

Andy Lowery sat down with Breaking Defense for a deep dive into our high-power microwave technology and the need for DoD to transition to a 'one-to-many' mindset as the rise of unmanned systems continues to skyrocket globally. We have to undergo a paradigm shift in how we approach short range air defense. The days of one threat, one interceptor are long gone. That's why Epirus is focused on "HPM for high-value asset protection, short-range air-defense protection. The ways of protecting our guarded assets now need to evolve because swarms have manifested into the physical realm and are being developed by the Russians, Chinese, and Iranians."

The broken economics of drone warfare, directed energy as a solution to counter swarms and level the cost equation ... Sound familiar? From the conference rooms of Epirus' first office to incoming SecArmy's confirmation hearing, these are the issues that will define National Security in the 21st century. We look forward to working with you, sir!

A prescient piece from Epirus co-founder Joe Lonsdale ↘ "Since the end of the Cold War, over 2500 US companies have been founded and reached a valuation of a billion dollars or more. Less than a dozen have been in defense. I personally founded a few and invested early in a few more of them. In many areas, these companies are outcompeting the Primes, if they’re allowed to. They represent thousands of manufacturing jobs in the US – and could have a multiple of that in the next decade. But they need allies in the government." https://lnkd.in/edyU44jr

Epirus x Bloomberg's Top Defense Tech Startups to Watch Welcome to the age of neo-primes—where nontraditional defense technology companies that fuse the DNA of big aerospace with a disruptive Silicon Valley mindset are pioneering once unthinkable innovations.?? (Yes, like operational forcefields enabled by software-defined high-energy microwaves).

Epirus is pleased to announce Dr. Matt Markel as our new Chief Technology Officer, where he will oversee development and productization of our suite of high-power microwave systems for short range air defense. Dr. Markel brings decades of leadership in radar, autonomy and EW at Raytheon, Waymo and elsewhere to the company. His expertise in sensing software and advanced perception capabilities will be critical to our growth as we work to improve the entire counter-UAS kill chain. In today’s era of asymmetric warfare, Epirus is pioneering one-to-many, counter swarm capabilities that level the playing field and cost equation. https://lnkd.in/eECyNGCp
