Yesterday four Members of Congress braved the snow to show up for the epilepsies to reintroduce the National Plan for Epilepsy. Thank you to the Senate and House Epilepsy Caucus Co-Chairs: Senator Schmitt (MO), Senator Klobuchar (MN), Representative Costa (CA) and Representative Murphy (NC). Each shared that this is personal and they are committed to seeing this legislation passed and signed into law. Our community is grateful for your leadership. Photos, recordings and a recap coming in the days ahead! In the meantime, we are grateful to the incredible presenters Bernice Martin Lee Gabrielle Conecker @Daniel Lowenstein Capt Jack Somers. Your remarks demonstrated the depth and breadth of the impact of epilepsy on both the individual and their extended loved ones - the "blast range" per our Capt Jack.
