Within EPICS, the IMS team is the team behind application and website development for the betterment of the community. Furthermore, the IMS team is split into two subteams, Impact Earth and the National Kidney Foundation team. The Kidney Foundation subsection uses Flutter, Android Studio, Nutritionix, and Firebase to create a functional diet tracking app made for individuals suffering from chronic kidney disease. On the other hand, the Impact Earth is creating an app with complex calculations to quantify the impact that a specific given projectile from the user would have on Earth today, by utilizing multiple different computer languages. By using a step by step design process, the IMS team continues to develop and push forward these projects so that they reach as many consumers as possible.

Happy Thanksgiving! ??? This past week, our EPICS teams successfully completed their final design review! We're incredibly grateful for the valuable feedback from our amazing reviewers, which will help us take our projects to the next level. ?? As we gear up for the upcoming semester, we're excited to continue refining and finalizing our work. Specifically, we’ll be focusing on: -Completing the LTHC website to enhance its usability and impact. -Putting the finishing touches on our Senior Design project, ensuring it meets the high standards we've set for ourselves. ?? Happy Fall, everyone! ?? Our teams have been working incredibly hard this semester, and it’s exciting to see our progress! After receiving valuable feedback from both teams during the recent Design Review, we’re diving into the final phases of implementation to incorporate these insights. With the final Design Reviews just two weeks away, we’re focused and ready to deliver our best work. Proud of the effort everyone’s putting in, and looking forward to seeing it all come together!

After a succesful midterm design review, both LTHC and Senior Design were given very helpful feedback for our projects. This allows us to be one step forward on finalizing these projects this semester. We wanted to give our reviewers a very big thank you for attending our design review, as well as giving us amazing feedback.

Meet the Fall 2024 IMS Team! This semester marks a new chapter to our team, as we have new members and a brand new project. We will continue to work on the Senior Design project, and we are starting a brand new project in collaboration with LTHC. LTHC is Lafayette's Transitional Housing Center that has been serving the homeless community to find resources and help be part of the solution with homelessness. The team is planning on building a new website for the people in the homeless community to access resources LTHC offers. This will be an easy to use website, that can be accessed anywhere from your phone to your computer. We want to welcome our new and returning members. EPICS at Purdue

As this semester comes to a close, the Senior Design Application team has completed most of the functionality for the website. We are in the delivery phase of the design process, but we will continue working on this project next semester to add new features to our website. This team has made so much progress this last year, and we can't wait to see where this project takes us next!
