In light of recent developments regarding Enel X Way’s North American operations, we want to assure our customers and partners that Epic Charging is committed to supporting the ongoing functionality of #JuiceBox chargers. As many of you know, Enel X Way’s decision to cease operations in #NorthAmerica is impacting about 125,000 customers. These customers depend on their charging stations to power their personal and/or corporate?electric fleet. As we are committed to delivering an Epic customer experience, our engineering team has been actively innovating to ensure as many of these systems as possible can be reconfigured and remain operational without the need for additional hardware or site visits. This situation underscores a vital #lesson for the EV charging industry: the importance of adopting open standards to facilitate #interoperability. By utilizing industry standards like #OCPP, we are working on migrating Enel X chargers to a platform that is future-proof and more convenient for #utilities, #commercial operators, and EV #drivers.
