Additionally, their Champion Farmers Training further equips local farmers with skills to drive sustainable change in their communities.??? Bringing philanthropy into the classroom! ?? ?? ?? Last week, we had the privilege of launching an exciting new chapter with the International University of Monaco (IUM) through the #IUMEngage program. Jonathan HUDE-DUFOSSé, Epic’s Director for France, Switzerland, and Monaco, and Celina Eude, Epic's representative in Monaco, led an inspiring workshop for first-year bachelor students. Together, they explored innovative fundraising strategies, the economic models of #nonprofits, and Epic’s game-changing approach to #strategicgiving in philanthropy. But that’s just the beginning! On March 18th, IUM will host a #CharityDay to raise funds for one of our outstanding grantees, Friends-International. Based in Cambodia, Friends-International empowers vulnerable children and youth, providing the tools and services they need to reintegrate into stable family life, education, and sustainable employment or entrepreneurship. This partnership is helping drive change in Epic's key areas such as eradicating violence against children, fighting poverty, and creating a sustainable future through education and livelihoods. ? Highlights from the Sustainable Wealth Forum #FWM2025:? Last week, Myriam Vander Elst, Chief Engagement Officer at , joined Roger H. Hartmann, ESG Advisor (EFPA Luxembourg ASBL), for an inspiring discussion on philanthropy and sustainable wealth. Organised by Hubfinance.com, the Sustainable Wealth Forum #FWM2025 brought together thought leaders to explore strategies for a better future. Myriam opened the conference with a talk on Epic’s mission, highlighting how #philanthropy is becoming an increasingly sought-after strategy and skill among clients in #wealthmanagement. During the Fireside Chat, Myriam showcased Epic’s innovative model, which helps donors navigate the challenge of identifying trustworthy organisations, fostering trust, and enabling meaningful change. ?? New Grantee Alert: The Felix Project joins Epic Foundation ’s portfolio!??? We're thrilled to welcome The Felix Project! In a world where one-third of all food produced is wasted annually, The Felix Project is leading the charge against #foodwaste and food #poverty in London. Their vision? A city where no one goes hungry, and no good food goes to waste. By rescuing surplus food from retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers, they redistribute it to food banks, charities, schools, and community programs, ensuring it reaches those who need it most. This not only fights hunger but also reduces waste and lowers #environmentalimpact—a mission perfectly aligned with Epic’s people-first approach to tackling environmental and social challenges. Their work aligns with several of Epic’s thematic priorities, creating meaningful intersections across our focus areas. By tackling food waste, The Felix Project reinforces Epic’s “Environment & Future Generations” sub-portfolio, particularly in #agriculture and #foodsystems. At the same time, their strong social impact expands our “Combatting Poverty” efforts to #Europe—an issue we have primarily addressed through nonprofits in developing countries but that is becoming increasingly urgent in Europe, especially with rising precarity in urban areas. Over 3 million people in London live in food insecurity, including 400,000 children. Meanwhile, the UK wastes over 10 million tonnes of food annually—40% of which is perfectly edible. Just imagine this: by fighting food waste, The Felix Project has already saved an incredible 34,021 tonnes of embedded greenhouse gases—that’s equivalent to 14,000 return flights between London and New York! We’re proud to partner with The Felix Project in building a fairer, more sustainable future! ??

This extraordinary nonprofit, supported by Epic Foundation , empowers communities in rural Kenya to take the lead in improving their own health systems. Their results speak volumes: over 350,000 people reached through transformative programs. ???? Here’s how they’re making an impact: - Equipping community health workers to deliver vital care where it’s needed most. - Strengthening public health facilities to ensure high-quality services. - Building systems of community accountability to meet local needs. - Partnering with governments to create sustainable, community-centered health systems. ??
