The Epic Airway Systems, Inc. team recently had the invaluable opportunity to demonstrate the ease and innovation of the Epic Airway? for the City of Saratoga Springs Fire Department. The results of our study unequivocally demonstrate the urgent need for the Epic Airway and its ability to address unmet needs in the airway management industry. We want to share two key findings from our study and time with the firefighters that undoubtably suggest that the future of airway management and intubation must be the Epic Airway. 1. Epic Airway intubation “first attempt” success rate was TWICE that of traditional ETT intubation 2. Epic Co-Founder and CEO/CMO, Dr. Eric Moses, was recently given the opportunity to share his knowledge of airway management and safe anesthesia practice with the medical students and residents at Kabale Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda. "The lessons shared bilaterally were transcending," said Dr. Moses. "We spent the week learning and mastering the supraglottic airway. After quick lessons, the Kabale practitioners were off and running, teaching each other both low-tech and high-tech airway treatment methods."
