In order to better understand patient and care partner perspectives and preferences regarding myasthenia gravis (MG) treatment, a qualitative study utilizing voice analysis and virtual focus groups examined the experiences of both patients and care partners concerning MG-related symptoms and treatments. Voice analysis determined common MG symptoms and overall sentiments towards symptoms and treatments. Focus groups were constructed to understand the most pressing issues facing MG patients and care partners while offering insight into new treatment expectations. To address healthcare disparities experienced by historically marginalized patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the IBD Population Analyzer Tool for Health Systems (IBD PATH) was created to help organizations assess the risk of disease progression and identify gaps in IBD care through retrospective analysis of medication and medical records. In a case study at Ochsner Health, the IBD PATH was utilized to explore data standardization issues and enhance population health management strategies.
