Since we began, our mission has never changed: Build the world's largest & most secure, decentralized messaging network. Private communication is the beating heart of the internet, but it's controlled by 6 CEOs. Nearly 7 trillion messages are sent every year across SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger and Telegram, and we have: - No personal ownership - No portability - No open dev platforms The reality is we've seen almost no innovation in the last 30+ years and we need to change this. There is a huge opportunity for disruption here. Our mission is to open messaging. This marks a significant step toward building a decentralized, secure, and open messaging network for users and developers around the world.
