Meet Selene Sanchez, EPE’s new Senior Engineering Manager in Generation Interconnection Services - CAISO Region. Selene has had the opportunity to work in a variety of careers in the past 18 years as a Utility Professional within the CAISO area. Her positions have included Electric System Planning/Engineer at the distribution, subtransmission, and transmission voltages; Project/Program Manager; subject matter expert in Generation Interconnections; and Engineering Leadership. She manages a multidisciplinary team of engineers who perform technical studies or provide project support at any stage of the interconnection process, contributing to the energy transition in California. Selene is energized by change and describes growth and continuous learning as her superpowers. “Throughout my career, I’ve closely observed the changes happening in both the utility landscape and the energy resources sector as we work towards a smarter, more resilient grid of the future,” she said. “I’m excited to help EPE continue to be a revolutionary innovator in this space.” Selene and Michelle Antosh will be representing EPE at the 2024 CAISO Stakeholder Symposium on October 29-30, 2024.
