Making bill pay easier with more options As a community-focused company, EPB puts people at the center of our work. We listen to customers' concerns and find solutions. Thanks to their input, we launched new account management tools to make it easier and more straightforward for customers to pay bills and manage their electric and fiber optics accounts at EPB.com and on the MyEPB app. ? More options: Customers can now pay with American Express, Venmo, PayPal, Apple and Google Pay. ? More ways: Pay-by-Text gives customers a convenient new way to pay. ? Better experience: We made it easier to navigate online bill payment, especially on mobile devices. ? Bilingual: All options are now available in Spanish. Plus, we kept the options customers love, like Autopay. To continue using Autopay, customers must reenroll. Today, we announced long-time innovation partner Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is running technology developed by its scientists on EPB Quantum NetworkSM powered by Qubitekk, Inc. This is the first time ORNL has run its technology on a commercially available quantum network. This effort builds upon award-winning work with ORNL. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga joins the collaboration from the node on their campus connected to EPB Quantum Network. UTC is the first American university to be connected to a commercial quantum network. EPB Quantum Network is a major effort to position Chattanooga for economic benefit as a leader in the rapidly emerging quantum industry. We applied more than 15 years of fiber optic experience to create the first commercially available quantum network in the nation and want to ensure our entire community benefits. We’re working with leaders across Chattanooga and Hamilton County to support an ecosystem where quantum investments and jobs can thrive with the talent from our own back yard.
