关于我们

At Eorte, we specialize in creating high-quality, eco-friendly hospitality uniforms using recycled bedsheets. Our innovative process not only reduces textile waste but also ensures that sustainable uniforms are accessible to all. Fashion vs. Hospitality: Who Has the Bigger Textile Waste Footprint? When we talk about textile waste, the fashion industry is often in the spotlight—and for good reason. Fast fashion’s rapid production cycles lead to millions of tons of clothing ending up in landfills every year. But there’s another major player we don’t talk about enough: the hospitality industry. A Side by Side Comparison: ?? Total Waste: Fashion generates more by volume, but hospitality's impact is significant. ?? Rate of Disposal: Fast fashion moves quickly, but hospitality textiles are frequently thrown out. ?? Sustainability Efforts: Both industries are making amazing progress, but more work is needed. ?? Visibility: Fashion waste is widely discussed; hospitality's waste often happens behind the scenes. But rather than comparing which industry is “worse,” the real question is:? How can both do better? The good news is that many organizations are stepping up, like Eorte Brand. But to truly close the loop, we require greater collaboration, innovation, and commitment across the industry from all stakeholders. Here's how everyone can contribute. ? Circular uniform & linen programs to extend textile lifespans like Eorte Brand ? Innovations in textile recycling, like our sensor and sorting technology ? More transparency & accountability in waste reporting and management ? Increased use of recycled & sustainable materials in every products What sustainable solutions have you seen in action? How can we push for greater accountability in textile waste management? Let’s come together and share ideas! ?? #Sustainablehotel?#HospitalityIndustry #TextileWaste #CircularEconomy #Sustainableuniform #Hotel #WasteReduction #TextileRecycling #Greenkey #Recycling

  • The Hidden Cost of Hotel Linens: Balancing Luxury and Sustainability When you check into a hotel room, especially one with a price tag of $200+ per night, you expect a certain level of luxury and cleanliness. Finding a single stain of imperfection on the sheets can shatter that illusion, damaging your stay and the hotel's reputation and deterring repeat visits. The consequences of subpar linens can be severe: ?? Loss of confidence in the hotel ??♂? Negative social media attention ?? Decreased sales and future bookings To minimize potential risks, hotels usually play it safe by getting rid of linens as soon as they show signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately, this practice can have a notable negative effect on the environment.. The Alarming Statistics: From 2020 to 2024, the hotel industry generated an estimated 100,000 kg of linen waste annually, contributing substantially to textile waste globally. This waste often ends up in landfills, exacerbating environmental issues like greenhouse gas emissions and resource depletion. What Can Be Done? As the hotel industry continues to grow, it's essential to adopt sustainable practices that balance luxury with environmental responsibility. This can include: ? Implementing linen recycling programs, like with Eorte Brand ? Using eco-friendly laundry detergents, ? Exploring sustainable linen alternatives, like regenerative cotton made from recycled fiber. By collaborating, we can reduce waste, promote sustainability, and uphold the high standards of luxury and cleanliness that hotel guests have come to expect. #HotelSustainability #EcoFriendlyHotels #TextileWaste #SustainableTourism #LuxuryHotels #GreenHotels #HospitalityIndustry #SustainablePractices

  • Our founder, Joey Pham recently had the opportunity to sit down with Wendy Nystrom Lloyd, M.A. CRIS, ENV SP, for a thoughtful conversation about the journey behind building Eorte Brand, a brand centered on sustainable uniforms. Joey spoke about the “why” that drives our work, the values that guide our decisions, and the vision we hold for creating lasting, positive change in the uniform industry. We are truly grateful for how far we’ve come—and even more so for the dedicated team and community that had supported and made this possible. This work isn’t without its challenges, but we have learned that when your mission is clear and rooted in purpose, it gives you the resilience to keep moving forward. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far. We are so grateful and humbled by your support and encouragement, helping us to continue the important mission of preventing textile waste from entering the landfills. #SustainableFashion #CircularEconomy #PurposeDrivenLeadership #ClimateAction #EcoInnovation https://lnkd.in/gxDNYGVh
