?? Embrace a Sustainable Future Until now, we've followed a linear production model: we extract, produce, consume, and discard. However, this approach is accelerating consumption and is ultimately unsustainable for our planet. The circular economy offers a more sustainable alternative. It promotes a production and consumption model where raw materials are used for longer periods and can be recycled, leading to much less waste. In essence, this model keeps resources in the economy longer, allowing us to use generated waste as raw material for other industries. The goal of the circular economy is to maximize the use of our material resources by following three basic principles: reduce, reuse, and recycle. This means products last longer, waste is repurposed, and a more efficient and sustainable production model is established over time. In short, the circular economy is crucial for a sustainable and thriving future. ?? Join the movement towards a thriving tomorrow! The circular economy isn't just important; it's the key to a sustainable and prosperous future. Let's make a difference together! ?? #CircularEconomy #SustainabilityRevolution #GreenFuture #ReduceReuseRecycle

Founder @ Eorte Brand | Sustainable Uniforms | Clean Tech | LACI Portfolio Company | Start-Out | Climate Reality Project | Former Fashion Director
As the year draws to a close, I find myself deeply reflecting on the transformative journey of the past 12 months. I'm grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped this remarkable year, and my appreciation extends to the unwavering support of family, friends, mentors, and colleagues who played a pivotal role in our shared successes. This year has been marked by growth, continuous learning, and meaningful connections, and I am genuinely thankful for every moment. One standout milestone of 2023 was the establishment of Eorte, my new venture dedicated to driving positive change through sustainable initiatives. At Eorte, we empower hotels to convert linen waste into uniforms, creating a closed-loop business model that diverts 30-40% of textile waste from landfills. The staggering scale of hotel textile waste, amounting to 10 million tons annually worldwide, has raised environmental alarms. Astonishingly, up to 80% of discarded linens still have potential use, highlighting a pressing need for sustainable practices in the hospitality sector. This excess waste not only burdens the environment but also carries financial implications and reputation risks for hotels and the hospitality industry. Looking ahead to 2024, Eorte is poised to elevate its sustainable efforts even further. We have ambitious plans to implement cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies, collaborate with like-minded organizations, and raise awareness about environmental conservation. As I reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, I am energized and motivated to continue making a positive impact in the coming year and beyond. Together, we are shaping a future that prioritizes both business success and environmental stewardship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Happy New Year everyone! #Sustainability #NewYearReflections #PositiveImpact #recycling #earthcare #greenentrepreneurship #future
