For our third ???????????????????? ???? ?????????? ???????????????????award, we are excited to recognize the University of Colorado Cancer Center, Dr. Nina Thomas, Stephanie Brown RN, and the entire UCHealth team for their pulmonary nodule clinic's success in lung cancer care! More than 40% of lung cancer cases at UCHealth were diagnosed in stage I - a phenomenal achievement that is making a true difference in the lives of patients in the region. For our second ???????????????????? ???? ?????????? ???????????????????award, we are excited to recognize Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and the work that Amie J. Miller, Yulonda Greene, and their team have invested in lung cancer care! Beyond Sarasota's LCS adherence rate for high-risk patients reaching +80%, they also diagnosed 57.6% of all lung cancers in stages I and II - well above the 24.9% Florida average. Last week at the?AONN+?Conference, Eon joined?Lifepoint Health??to share data from a pilot study on the prevalence of incidental breast findings. The results: 44.7% of patients with incidental breast findings did not meet screening criteria, meaning patients are slipping through the cracks and an incidental program is essential in providing quality care to all!
